Motherhood does not pause because you are grieving. The lunches still need packing. The questions still come. Someone still needs you while part of you is trying to understand what has been lost.
Healing can look like laughter in one room and tears in the next. Both can be true. The high does not betray the grief, and the low does not erase your progress.
You are allowed to be present for the people you love without pretending you are not carrying something too.
