Late night freestyle
Got let my words flow
This is the only way I can clear my head ya know
2 weeks into my new gig
I feel more depressed than ever before
Spending more dough to work
but this is what I asked for
I should be excited
but I’m tired
I should be proud
but I’m anxious
I’m wired
But they tell me I gotta keep pressing
I gotta thank God for my blessings
You gotta do what you gotta do
I just want to feel alive
sick and tired of feeling blue
Up off the late night
too down to write
but I push to let the words trickle until I feel right
Music is the only thing that gets me high
Couldn’t hate it if I tried
Waiting patiently for the tunes to manifest into reality
Waiting for the one that can understand me
He gets me…

This is the first time that a song dedication left me speechless and unsure of what to do
I remember when i would’ve loved to hear those words from you
So the question is where did we lose our way
Where was God those nights i would cry and pray?
Where were you when i needed you to tell me that we would be ok
I needed to feel as if I meant the world to you
I know I could’ve done more to show you that i appreciated all the little things you would do
There will never be an opportunity to press rewind
And it would be insanity to repeat the same lessons this time
So where do we go from here?
What must I do with these feelings ?
